Danny Dyer loves a caravan park and now he’s on a mission to save the great British holiday by reviving Priory Hill in Leysdown, Kent. Alongside his daughter Dani, Danny’s investing his money, time and East End graft to bring back the spirit of those classic family breaks, where generations holidayed together on British shores.

But running a park today is no easy ride. With exotic destinations, tight budgets and high expectations threatening traditional sites, the Dyers must win over sceptical residents and staff while boosting business and modernising the park. From grand plans for playgrounds to the bingo and entertainment, Danny’s
determined to make his nostalgic dream a reality.

Can he turn around the fortunes of a struggling seaside park and, in the process, save a slice of British holiday history? The stakes are high – the place he spent the happiest days of his childhood in Canvey Island has closed down – he wants to ensure that fate never befalls the Priory Hill, the place his beloved mother-in-law spent the best days of her childhood.

Over the course of a six part series Dani and Danny soon discover that the venture isn’t easy and is a world away from the lives they lead as they face demanding punters, dodgy plumbing and a rather unfortunate looking billboard. But the heart of the series is the residents, who have left a lasting impression on the father and daughter duo – deepening their desire to make Priory Hill the best caravan park on earth.
