Comedian Munya Chawawa went on a road trip around Britain to poke a finger at racial ignorance. With an array of special guests, Munya’s mission was to celebrate Black British culture with a series of stunts and comedy characters.
The YouTube series was a huge hit with viewers, getting over 7 million views across the series. The show’s success extended to awards, with Munya winning the Best Presenter award at the RTS Awards for his performance on the show and the show getting a Comedy Entertainment Programme nomination at the BAFTAs.
The series included an array of guests, including Nella Rose, Michael Dapaah and Yung Filly. Iconic moments included Munya turning a group of Karens into a drill group and the ‘Great British Jerk Off’ where Brits tested their Caribbean cooking skills.
